PRIVACY POLICY
Your data stays yours.
Last updated: June 2026
The short version
- Nurtura is local-first. Your logs, photos, and child profiles are stored on your device by default.
- You can use the app without creating an account.
- Optional cloud sync (via Supabase) keeps your data accessible across devices when you sign in with an email.
- We don't sell your data. We don't use third-party analytics on parent or baby data.
- You can delete everything by removing the app.
What we collect
Only what's needed to make the app work:
- Child profile data (name, date of birth, due date, life stage) — entered by you, stored locally.
- Daily logs (sleep, fussiness, clinginess, appetite scores; optional notes; optional MCQ signals) — entered by you, stored locally.
- Memories (photos, captions, optional milestone labels) — image files stored locally on your device.
- Account email — only if you choose to enable cloud sync.
- Purchase status — held by RevenueCat (our purchase processor) and Apple, tied to your Apple ID.
What we don't collect
- No browsing history, advertising IDs, or device fingerprints.
- No third-party analytics SDKs on the parent-facing app.
- No location data.
- No microphone or contacts access.
Cloud sync (optional)
When you sign in with an email address, your child profile, logs, and insights are mirrored to Supabase so they're available on any device you sign in to. Photos and memories remain local-only.
You can disable sync at any time in Profile → Cloud sync.
Partner sharing
If you invite a partner with a sharing code, they get read access to your child's timeline, recent logs, and insights. The code is single-use and can be revoked at any time. No partner data leaves Nurtura's servers.
Permissions we request
- Notifications — to send the optional daily log reminder. You control this in Profile or in iOS Settings.
- Photo library — only when you tap "Add a memory" → "Choose from library". We don't browse your library otherwise.
- Camera — only when you tap "Add a memory" → "Take photo".
Your rights
You can request a copy of your data, or deletion of your cloud-stored data, by emailing support@nurtura.app. Local data can be removed at any time by deleting the app.
